My secondary school BAND life =')

Every story comes to the end.

My band life is now the end in secondary school life.

I joined the band since 2007.

Seem long but now i feel it was a short time.

It was a tough road for me when i just started to join band.

Many backstabbing and it was hard for me because I didn't have the music background.

For me, I didn't like my Form 1 band life at all.

Fortunately, I met many friends in band when i'm Form 2.

Then, I feel happy with my band life.

I love CH band after joining the Marching Camp and Formation Camp.

Every year, I never miss the camp.

It was very fun.

Full of sweat and tears.

That was the beginning of my band life story.

Later, our band got an AUDITION!

One person from each instrument and conducted by Rex Lo.

And my trumpet seniors, Yik Lee and Zhen Jie are sit in front of me who are going to hear my trumpet skills and others.

That time, I feel OMG! How come I can come across it?

I was only a junior with little bit marching and music basic and yet I need to play "Quidam" and march the Marching Fundamental.

Guess what, I failed that audition.

Yet, I feel lucky because I met Ga Li, a flutist senior.

She was an amazing and great person I never met before.

She teach many music basic to me.

And I feel warm that she could kindly teach such lousy person as me.

You never know how nervous I am during the audition.

Others like Annual Food Sales, find sponsorship, school concert, band concert, nonami camp, nipadth camp, band camp and blah blah blah...

There was so many activities that I couldn't remember all of it.

Those are all in my mind and it was such a wonderful memories that make my secondary school life full of colours.

Last year, I became Uniform Officer with my friends, Eric Rawing, Vero and Alina Tan.

Well, it was a tough job only the days before the competitions, parades or others performance.

We slept late in the night and sometimes smelt sting. hahaXD

Because everyone go to "steal" toilet to bath.

Anyway, thanks for the job done well.

This year 2011, my last year in band.

At first, I can't join the competitions this year.

Actually, my family and my friends not very support me as well

due to some family, money and studies problems.

Well, I did care about it.

But another me also care about band.

Kinda confused.

Lastly, the 50% of won (join the competition)

So let the another 50% add 50% to become 100%

Full passion in band and let's get high in the field.

We make it, make the impossible become possible with full of strength.

Finish whole formation within the weeks.

7 over 22 form five is join the world contest.

It was very lucky indeed to be the one in it.

Well, at KLIA, it was the first time I went there with many band members.

The first flight is our school Smk chung hua with St. Joseph, Miri. (due to the miri flight problems ==)

It was fine at all.

At least, we did have a great time in airplane. =)

At KL, we only think about the competition.

So we keep on march and play music on the field.

Not only the beautiful park, stadium and also the SM Sains Selangor's field.

Thanks God for giving so much kindness to our band.

And our band creates many miracles.

It was truly an honour.

Now, I also how luckiest I am in band and the apple with tha "JAZZ" tape. =)

But I was angry about the time for us to rehearsal in the stadium is a raining day and yet the floor is very slippery. That time our performance was not that impressed.

After that day, we keep on polishing and updating our formation to be better and better.

But at least, we went to Midvalley and shopping within one hours only with "salty" cloth and socks. hahaXD

I feel wonderful when the time before we get ready to march in.

We will stay together as a team.

Wear the helmet and said my name is now Chung Hua Miri Brass Band.

It was awesome and I miss the feeling when we stay together and pray together with our hands put on each others' shoulder and cry at the moments.

Just like our band concept

"One Band, One Heart, One Sound, One Soul"

I didn't feel any regret about joining the competition this year.

Well, it was truth that we get 6th in the world contest.

I get disappointed but at least I know that I already do my best in the competition.

I never feel regret.

I like the word that said to me from other band that said to me

"Trumpet is the best instrument"

The another happiest moments is at Sunway Lagoon.

I and my buddies, Jolene Hiing create many footprint in it.

Full of fun, craziest and screaming. hahaXD

And most of the moment, my buddies almost want fainted playing with me.

So that we do not felt regret about not playing this or that. ^^

We run here and there to find excitement.

Within that 2 hours, we almost play all of the craziest games except wildlife and extreme park.

Too bad. ='( Extreme park looks so much fun!)

I wish I had a BACK button in my life.
