知足 Content

敬畏耶和的，得着生命；
The fear of Lord leads to life:

他必恒久知足，不遭祸患。
Then one rests content, untouched by trouble.

人的劳碌都为口腹，心里却不知足。
All man's efforts are for his mouth, yet his appetite is never satisfied.

不要以强暴待人，也不要讹诈人，
Don't extort money and don't accuse people falsely

自己有钱粮就当知足。
-be content with your pay.

我并不是因缺乏说 这话;
I am not saying this because I am in need,

我无论在什么景况都可以知足，这是我已经学会了。
for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances.

然而，敬虔加上知足的心便是大利了；
But godliness with contentment is great gain.

只要有衣有食，就当知足。
If we have clothing and food, we will be content with that.
